The Biofficiency Spring School 2019 is now open for registration! (Update: registration closed)

Next year, the Biofficiency group will organise and host a Spring School on next-generation, biomass-powered CHP plants in Athens, Greece between the 2nd and 5th of April. Many speakers from our consortium will present their results and give an introduction to their areas of research, for example:

- Biomass Properties

- Biomass Pretreatment

- Fluidized Bed and Pulverised Fuel Combustion

- Boiler Corrosion and Mitigation Measures

- Furnace Materials

- Biomass Ash Utilisation

- Boiler and CHP Plant Modeling

- Environmental and Socio-Economic Impact of Biomass Utilisation

 

Additionally, there will be a field trip towards a cogeneration plant in Aspra Spitia, Viotia.

This Spring School is aimed towards both early career researchers and professionals as well as interested students. Attending the Spring School is free (travel and accomodation costs are not covered). All the relevant information can be found under the following link:
