From 26 - 27th of April the 16. Life Sciences Student Congress took place in Beuggen, Germany. The annual event is organized for secondary school students from Switzerland, Germany and France with special interest in natural sciences. Primary focus is to promote exchange between students, researchers and industry and to enthuse pupils for science and technology. Various topics from the field were presented, ethical aspects discussed and some outlooks to the future were attempted.
Within this frame, consortium partner TU Munich contributed with a presentation about the future of power generation from Biomass, pre-treatment technologies and ash-related issues that will be tackled in the Biofficiency project.
